Ask yourself this: Do you want metal or oil coming in direct contact with your drink of choice?
ReCORK is excited to unveil a new, stellar info-graphic. PricewaterhouseCoopers released a comprehensive report on the impact of various materials used to make bottle closures; namely aluminum, petroleum-based plastic and natural cork. Our new info-graphic presents the findings of the report with great visual impact.
There are many reasons why natural cork is the best material for closures. This report focuses on the environmental impact of the sourcing of these respective materials. The critical findings of the report are greenhouse gas emissions, non-renewable energy consumption, total production of solid waste and water consumption. I'll leave this blog post short and let the info-graphic do the talking. Let's just say that natural cork laps the field in all regards.

I'm looking forward to everyone's reaction to the info-graphic. Hopefully you find it useful.
